Wienerberg gets new bicycle and wheelchair park for everyone!

Am Wienerberg in favorites is an innovative wheelchair and bicycle park that is realized on the initiative of children and adolescents. As a winning project of the Wiener Children's and Youth Million, this park is intended to offer a new range of movements, which, in addition to ball sports, also promotes the use of wheelchairs and bicycles. Vice mayor Christoph Review was enthusiastic about the possibility of offering young people a platform to put their creative ideas into practice and emphasizes how important participation in urban design is, like today reported.

The project relies on a natural design and uses environmentally friendly materials. Wood is used for the wheelchair tracks, while a special mix of earth, clay and split ensures the bicycle route. This approach not only contributes to accessibility, but also enables driving fun in three difficulty levels that do justice to both beginners and advanced, as the climate city council emphasized Jürgen Czernohorszky. The entire system is supplemented by a round of wooden platform, which serves as a meeting point for users of all levels of experience.
The railways have already been completed, and the last work on the additional elements, such as benches and new plantings, are underway. With a planned start in spring, the park will be a new highlight for sporting activities in the area, such as wien.gv.at
