Slovak pavilion inspires over 2 million visitors in Japan!
The world exhibition in Osaka, Japan, has achieved an impressive visitor record. Over two million people have already visited the Pavilon Commons-C, where Slovakia can be found. This was announced on August 14, 2025 by [ots.at] (https://www.ots.at/presseaus-sung/ots_20250814_ots0074/welt exhibition-in-pavillon-dem-dems-die-die-Slowei-sbinde-Hat-Als-2-million-visitor). The celebrations on the occasion of the two millionth visitor took place on August 9 and included a varied program for various age groups.
The morning was specially designed for children, while the afternoon was dedicated to the transfer of knowledge. An interactive quiz about Slovakia tested the knowledge of visitors about state sports, culture and export industries. Michaela Kovačičová, the General Commissioner, was pleased with the positive response and emphasized that the Slovak exhibition was particularly well attended by her interactive elements.
Interactive elements and cultural exchange
Visitors can watch around 1,500 players every day at interactive games such as the Pexeso memory game. The design of the pavilion attracted many, especially a goal decorated with traditional embroidery. The exhibition offers a wide range of exhibits, including Easter eggs and modern technology products. A highlight was also the Slovak stamp, which is considered one of the most beautiful in Expo and received unofficial recognition.
Personal support from the Slovak team, which also includes Japanese -speaking hosts, is very much appreciated by the visitors. These intercultural contacts promote exchange and understanding between cultures. The national organization to promote tourism in Slovakia, known as Slovakia Travel, plays an important role in these efforts.
