McDonald's Bruck: New shine after ten weeks of renovation!
The McDonald's branch in Bruck an der Mur was officially opened after a comprehensive renovation that took ten weeks. This restaurant on Wiener Straße now shines in a new design and offers numerous innovative features. This resulted in a completely redesigned guest area, which has a modern kitchen with new machines. The highlights include the tandem McDrive, our own organic shredder and a large playland for the little guests.
Numerous guests came to the opening ceremony on Monday, including the mayor Andrea Winkelmeier and the WKO chairman Thomas Marichhofer. Mayor Winkelmeier said she was proud of the 50 secure jobs and the excellent quality of the restaurant, which she often visits herself. The new franchisee, Clemens Ludwar, who previously worked as operations manager in the team, took over management of the restaurant from Andreas Gamsjäger, who has reduced his portfolio. “I would like to thank my predecessor for the opportunity to work as a franchisee here,” said Ludwar. His vision is to create a modern restaurant experience for guests, with the employees always being the focus, which he wants to implement with over 40 employees.
New gastronomic concept
How McDonald’s Austria reported, the opening times will be adjusted: The branch will now be open from Sunday to Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday until 1:00 a.m. Ludwar has already formulated his goals to specifically train employees and thus contribute to a positive atmosphere. The renovation makes the branch the most modern in all of Austria and supports regional added value - McDonald's in Styria generated added value of 58 million euros in 2021 and created 1,446 jobs.
For the team and loyal guests, the focus remains strongly on training and personal service. New concepts in the catering industry also promote environmental friendliness by predominantly recycling waste and expanding the use of sustainable packaging. Here, McDonald’s aims to source 100% of its guest packaging from renewable or recycled sources by 2025.
