McDonald's Bruck: New shine after ten weeks of conversion!
The McDonald’s branch in Bruck an der Mur was solemnly opened after a comprehensive renovation of ten weeks. This restaurant on Wiener Strasse now shines in a new design and offers numerous innovative features. This creates a completely redesigned guest area that has a modern kitchen with new machines. The highlights include the Tandem McDrive, a separate Bioschredder and a large Playland for the little guests.
Numerous guests came to the opening ceremony on Monday, including Mayor Andrea Winkelmeier and WKO chairman Thomas Marichhofer. Mayor Winkelmeier proudly commented on the 50 secure jobs and the excellent quality of the restaurant, which she often visits. The new franchisee, Clemens Ludwar, who previously worked as an operations manager in the team, took over the management of Andreas Gamsjäger's restaurant, who reduced his portfolio. "I thank my predecessor for the opportunity to work here as a franchisee," said Ludwar. His vision is to create a modern restaurant experience for the guests, whereby the employees should always be the focus of what he wants to implement with over 40 employees.
new gastronomic concept
like McDonald’s Austria , the opening times will be adjusted: The branch will now be open from Sunday to Thursday from 07:00 to midnight and on Friday and Saturday until 01:00 a.m. Ludwar has already formulated his goals to train the employees in a targeted manner and thus contribute to a positive atmosphere. The renovation makes the branch the most modern in Austria and supports regional added value - McDonald’s generated a value added of 58 million euros in Styria in 2021 and created 1,446 jobs.
For the team and the loyal guests, the focus remains on training and personal service. With new concepts in the catering trade, environmental friendliness is also promoted by mostly recycling waste and the use of sustainable packaging is expanded. Here McDonald’s strives to obtain 100 % of his guest packaging from renewable or recycled sources by 2025.
