Spring session of the employee: Inner parliament: Financing newly thought!
Völklplatz 1, 3100 St. Pölten, Österreich - On May 15, 2025, the Lower Austria Chamber of Lower Austria announces that the Lower Austrian employee: Interior Parliament, i.e. the General Assembly of AK Lower Austria, will come together on May 23, 2025 for its spring session. This session is of great importance because it focuses on central topics that affect both the interests of employees: inside and the financing of the welfare state. Media representatives: Interior are invited to take part in the event that takes place in the City Hotel Design & Classic in St. Pölten.
The focus of the session is the demand for wider financing of the solidarity state. Markus Wieser, President of the Lower Austria Chamber of Lower Austria and Chairman of the ÖGB Lower Austria, emphasizes the increasingly mechanized world of work. In this context, he draws attention to the fact that the relationship between man and machine is currently 60 to 40 percent. Wieser emphasizes that the financing of social security can not only be based on the wage and salary sum, but that the value creation should also be included in the calculation basis from high-technological means of production.

Wieser continues that there is a 40 percent gap in the financing that must be closed. These are urgent topics that are discussed at the meeting. A resolution that supports these proposals has already been unanimously decided by all factions in the employee: inner parliament. The high trust of the population in the Chamber of Labor, which was measured in the APA/OGM confidence index with 58 points, sees Wieser as an order to continue to represent the interests of the working population.
As part of the session, various reports are also presented, including the annual reports of AK Lower Austria for 2024. In addition, Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Bernhard Kittel keep a guest department that deals with current issues in the world of work. Furthermore, AK-Niederösterreich Director Bettina Heise and ÖGB Lower Austria Chairman Markus Wieser will inform about the developments of the past year and the challenges that lie ahead.
