The automobile manufacturer Cupra opened its first “City Garage” in Austria on May 15, 2025. With the eleventh City Garage worldwide, Cupra sets a strategic step to strengthen its presence in Austria. Markus Haupt explained the importance of the market and the goal of creating a cultural hotspot. The garage offers a versatile Asian cocktail kitchen, live DJ sessions and exhibitions of local talents. The exclusive test drives through the city center are also an attraction that should address potential customers. Automotive World emphasizes that cupra First quarter 2025 achieved a market share of 4.1 percent in Austria, which means a doubling compared to the previous year.

The Terramar model, the SUV in the size of the VW Tiguan, has proven to be particularly successful and took eighth place in new registrations in Austria. In addition, a showcar called "Raval", which is close to the series, was presented, which is due to be launched in 2026.

The Cupra brand was created in 2018 from Seat's high -performance department and has since developed as an independent brand with an unmistakable identity. Cupra stands for individuality, lifestyle and sustainable mobility concepts. With a view to the future, Cupra pursues ambitious goals. By 2030, the company plans to switch its product portfolio to electrically powered vehicles, whereby the Cupra Tavascan is the first fully electric SUV coupé.
