Government plans mandatory hearings for ministers: This is behind it!
In the context of the current political discussion, the Greens call for a mandatory hearing from the designated members of the Federal Government in the National Council before they are praised by the Federal President. This claim is based on a passage in the government program published on Thursday, which can be found on page 124. In a letter to club chiefs August Wöginger (ÖVP), Philip Kucher (SPÖ) and Beate Meinl-Reisinger (NEOS), the Greens propose March 3 to introduce such hearings. Green politician Maurer expressed that the commitment in the government program was welcomed, but lip service alone was not convinced. He emphasized that concrete deeds are now required. In addition, hope for changes in the law was expressed in this context, but the upcoming coalition waved this astonishly and explained that the relevant law had to be changed before the proposed hearings could take place, the information from the website of the Kleine Zeitung .
