The adjustments include an extension by 2029 instead of 2028 and a new regulation regarding the key days for new buildings that were re -dated by October 2019.
Latest measures in Austria
experts from the living area indicate that the current rental price brake in the private residential industry was not sufficient and had to bear numerous rent increases in the past. The living expert Leonard Jüngling is optimistic that the newly decided measures will bring real relief. In fact, tenants in paid cooperative apartments could benefit most from the new regulations, while those responsible in non -profit housing are faced with financial challenges if the savings should not be compensated for.
