New orientation classes: opportunities and challenges for refugee children!
The Austrian federal government has decided to get a new approach to integrating refugee children into the school system. Orientation classes are now being introduced, as krone.at . These classes should not only bring children closer to the language, but also convey basic values and rules for living together. Education officer Christine Haberlander commented on the challenge of the additional space requirement that is created by this initiative.
