Milena Tomic wins Škoda Elroq and relies on electromobility in Vienna!

As part of the Vienna Elektro days, which took place on Rathausplatz last year, it was impressive how much electromobility has arrived in everyday life. The event focused on the mobility of the future and offered visitors numerous presentations, test drives and innovative technologies. A highlight was the “Krone” competition, in which Milena Tomic from Vienna emerged as a lucky winner. For a year it can be the electric compact SUV Škoda elroq

The ŠKODA ELROQ , equipped with a battery capacity of 82 kWh, impressed with a range of up to 508 kilometers. With impressive 286 hp, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.6 seconds and is provided with all -wheel drive. A special feature is the quick charging function, which enables the battery to be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 28 minutes.

practical use in everyday life

Milena Tomic uses your new vehicle for purchases, family visits and spontaneous excursions. In addition, your own charging station is installed on your front door, which offers your great comfort. Especially enthusiastic about the autonomous driving functions and the positive driving experience of the electric car, she realizes how common the driving of an electric car has become.

The ŠKODA Elroq has not only received a very well received in Vienna, but also in Germany. According to the ADAC , it is one of the ten most popular electric cars in the country. The ElroQ leads the list as a top version with a 77 kWh battery, an output of 210 kW and a basic price of 43,900 euros. The different model variants also offer cheaper options, such as the ElroQ 50 for 33,900 euros and the ElroQ 60 for 38,400 euros.

Technical data and charging infrastructure

The technical specifications of the ŠKODA ELROQ are also impressive and contain a top speed of 180 km/h and a combined consumption of 15.2 kWh per 100 km. The trunk offers a volume of 470 liters, which can be expanded to up to 1,580 liters by folded back seats. The charging capacity, which is specified at a maximum of 175 kW, is particularly remarkable. The ADAC was even able to measure 180 kW in a test before it is absent from 33 percent to 100 kW.

in the context of growing electromobility, Norway should be mentioned as a pioneer. Deutschlandfunk reports that over 60 percent of the new registrations are electric cars and from 2025 only emission-free new car should be allowed. While Germany currently has around one million electric cars in operation, the federal government is aiming to bring 15 million electric cars on the streets by 2030. Nevertheless, there are challenges such as the shortage of raw material for lithium and cobalt, which could possibly be mitigated by new technologies.

The ŠKODA ELROQ therefore stands for an individual mobility solution, but also for part of the greater movement towards environmentally friendly mobility, which is increasingly integrated into everyday life. While the charging infrastructure in Germany is further expanded, the hope that the transformation of the traffic infrastructure caused by electric cars will have a positive impact on our environment.
