In order to simplify the processes and reduce costs, Winklmeier presented a rough concept for digitizing the most important work steps at the BAMF. "In times of limited budget and a high amount of tasks to be mastered, it is urgently needed that digital tools are introduced," he emphasized. Carmen Wegge added that the BAMF recognized how important modernization and de -bureaucratization are to make the integration system more efficient.
