The management of the company now has the ambitious goal of completing the Baltic Sea connection line by the end of 2023 in order to connect the planned LNG terminal on Rügen. These developments are part of the critical efforts to restructure Germany's energy supply, while at the same time the state has long intervened in this sector. GASCADE plans to convert the existing gas network for the transport of future technologies such as hydrogen, which will significantly influence the course for future energy policy in Germany.
