The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is currently working with partners on three key projects for the further development of hydrogen technologies. This includes "H2-Mare", which prevents hydrogen production at sea with offshore wind turbines, "Transhyde", which develops the transport of hydrogen, and "H2 giga", which focuses on the production of water electrolysers. Likewise, green hydrogen is produced by electrolysis with electricity from renewable energies, which means that this is CO2-free.

These developments underline the importance of green hydrogen for future energy supply and the need to advance innovative technologies in the field of sustainability.
