Drei coalition: Hight measures in asylum law and tenancy law announced!

A historical agreement has taken place in Austria: The ÖVP, SPÖ and NEOS have agreed on a triple coalition. This decision was announced on Thursday morning and marks the second attempt for joint government formation. The parties have adopted an extensive program with the title "Now do the right thing. For Austria", which comprises more than 200 pages in total. It focuses on consensus and pragmatism in order to form a capable of action. The coordination between the parties does not focus on party political interests, but on the well -being of all Austrians, which is emphasized in the coalition agreement according to the APA.

sharper asylum measures and changes in tenancy law

The coalition plans significantly tightened measures in asylum law, average family follow -ups are to be stopped temporarily and a ban on headscarves for minors is planned. At the same time, however, there is also progress in tenancy law, with an increase in the minimum limitation of rental contract periods to five years. Measures were also presented in the budget planning: Budget consolidation should take place over seven years in order to avoid impending deficit procedures. In the years 2025 and 2026, packages of measures over 6.3 and 8.7 billion euros are planned, as can be seen from the mirror.

The new ministerial posts still have to be confirmed, with the SPÖ in particular having internal discussions about the Ministry of Finance. The possible commissioning date for the new federal government is targeted for the coming Monday, provided that the internal party committees approved the coalition pact. The NEOs in particular are faced with a decisive vote, since a two -thirds majority is necessary in a general meeting to accept the agreement. These developments show that the new government will set off in the coming days to implement these important political projects to lead Austria into a stable future.
