Neubrandenburg, Deutschland - On February 15, 2025, a demonstration by the clubs Queernb and Queer-Strelitz will take place in Neubrandenburg. This event is part of the nationwide CSD campaign "Voting Love", which draws attention to the 2025 federal election. The aim of the demonstration is to sensitize voters to the rights of the queer community and to move them to choose democratic parties that arise for diversity, tolerance and equality. The event begins at 11:55 a.m. on the Neubrandenburg market square and runs through the city center.

Following the demonstration, a "democratic test" is held in which various parties and institutions of the city are imagined. Nils Berghof, board member of Queernb e.V., also speaks about the attacks on the queer community and the need to defend democratic values.

The campaign uses social media to inform about the positions of the various parties on queer topics and calls on voters to set a sign of love, respect and freedom. In addition, claims are directed to the federal government, including the admission of queer people in the Basic Law, the financial security of queer projects as well as better protection against hate crime and hate pecuriation.
