In the coming months,in Vienna and Lower Austria there are extensive construction work in rail transport that will lead to restricted restrictions for passengers. From June 28th, significant changes in public transport can be expected, which affect the S-Bahn and subway lines in particular. Especially in the Praterstern section - Floridsdorf in Vienna, there will be no trains in the summer months, which results in a change in timetables.
A rail replacement traffic is set up for the affected S-Bahn section. Two bus lines are ready: The SV900 (blue line) serves the Halte Traisengasse and Handelskai, while the SV905 (yellow line) runs as a direct connection from 5.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Valid ÖBB tickets are also recognized in these sections by U- and tram lines. Further work on the high warts lead from July 28th to August 14th to hire line 37, whereby passengers can switch to lines 38, d, 10a, 38a and 39a. A number of construction work can also be expected in Lower Austria. These start on June 28th at 2:00 a.m. and last until September 1st at 4:00 a.m. During this time, train traffic in the Fischamend section - Wolfsthal and on the Mistelbach - Laa a. d. Thaya. A single -track operation between German Wagram and Marchegg as well as between Mödling and Leobersdorf/Wiener Neustadt leads to changes to timetables on lines S1, R1, REX1, S2, Rex2, S3, Rex3, S4, S7, Rex7 and CJX9.
