Future projects for Grafschaft Bentheim: 372,000 euros for education and technology!

The county of Bentheim cheers! The Lower Saxony Minister for European and Regional Development, Wiebke Osigus, recently presented funding notices for two future-oriented educational projects. These money flow into the construction of the Vocational Education Center Campus (CBB) in Nordhorn and into the commercial vocational schools, where a modern learning center for automation technology is created. A large part of the funds, around 284,000 euros, secures the new bodies for a learning manager and an innovation manager who have already started their work!

"This funding is a real gamechanger for vocational training in our region!" emphasizes District Administrator Uwe Fietzek. The CBB is the largest educational project in the district and promotes lifelong learning from the first orientation to further training. The new employees will actively work on shaping practical and future -oriented training that meets the requirements of the labor market. The construction of the learning center will begin next year, which is designed as an open learning location for pupils and trainees and will offer innovative advisory and coaching offers.

The learning center is equipped with the latest technologies, including four collaborative robots, the so -called cobots. "These cobots strengthen the competitiveness of our students and improve their professional perspectives enormously!" Says Fietzek.

Minister Osigus emphasizes how important it is to introduce young people to new technologies at an early stage. "The future region of EMS-Vechte invests in what is important for your region. Whether in the city or in the country-good living conditions must be possible everywhere!" The “Future Regions of Lower Saxony” program provides around 96 million euros to promote innovative ability and equal opportunities in the 14 future regions of Lower Saxony.
