Stern singers move through Tyrol: Together for children's rights worldwide!
In a fascinating spectacle of charity, the Dreikönigsaktion 2025 in Mieders in Stubai in full swing. For the 71st times, the brave star singers not only move from door to door in colorful robes and glittering crowns, but can also be found on the ski slopes of the Serlesbahnen. These committed children, as the Kings Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar disguised, collect donations for people in need. Since 1954, the star singers have compiled an incredible 37 million euros for projects in poorer countries and support around 500 initiatives every year that benefit children and families.
An impressive poster of the campaign shows the siblings Yeider and Dayana from Colombia, who are representative of millions of disadvantaged children. The Dreikönigsingen 2025 focuses on the important topic of children's rights. Despite the progress that has been achieved since the United Nations' Child Rights Convention was adopted in 1989, 250 million children, mainly girls, without access to education, while 160 million children are forced, often live under exploitial conditions. The Pope himself has emphasized that "everyone has the right to live in dignity". Therefore, the action is committed to ensuring that children worldwide get to know and enforce their rights.

The Sternsinger partner organizations work tirelessly to improve the life situation of children. In the Turkana region in Kenya characterized by extreme weather conditions, they take care of the health care of children and pregnant women, while in Colombia children and adolescents who have experienced violence are given protection and education in the Children's Republic of Benposta. These programs show how important it is not only to offer children protection, but also to actively involve them in the design of their own living conditions. The donations of the star singers collected flow into aid projects in around a hundred countries and thus give the children a voice - a voice that speaks loudly and clearly for their rights.
