Stern singers bring blessings and hope in Eisenach!

On January 10, 2025, the Sternsinger visited the city administration of Eisenach. They were received by Mayor Steffen Liebendörfer and employees in the city council. The children brought singing and words of blessing to send the traditional blessing and to pronounce wishes for peace and happiness in the new year.

The star singers are children and adolescents who collect donations every year to support children in need of help worldwide. This year the donations will go to projects, the disadvantaged children, especially in the areas of education and health care. Mayor Liebendörfer thanked the star singers for their commitment and emphasized the importance of common efforts for a better future, such as Eisenach.de reported.

A larger kick -off event took place at the same time in Paderborn, where 1,500 Sternsinger opened the 67th Dreikönigssingen campaign. Under the motto "Lift your voice! Stern singing for children's rights", the event took place in bright sunshine in front of the Paderborn town hall. Sternsinger collect donations for disadvantaged children worldwide, what of Paderborn Archbishop Dr. Markus Udo Bentz was highlighted, which emphasized the importance of solidarity among children.

The service at the start was made by Archbishop Bentz, Pastor Dirk Bingener and Domvikar Dr. Stefan Ottersbach.
