Students from the Janusz Korczak School collect 900 euros for Malawi children

Sinzig, Deutschland - The students of the Janusz Korczak School in Sinzig set a strong sign of solidarity. As part of a donation run that took place recently, they have had an impressive 900 euros for refugee children in Malawi. The funds collected are forwarded directly to Welthungerhilfe in order to provide school meals and clean drinking water. This campaign shows the commitment and helpfulness of the students who actively take advantage of the support of needy children, such as the Rhein-Zeitung reported.

In addition to these socially committed activities, the 8A students undertook an exciting school trip to Speyer and Mainz. The trip began at the Sinziger train station, where everyone got on the train together. During the stay in the Technik Museum, the students had the opportunity to explore fascinating exhibitions of old cars, aircraft and even a space shuttle. A special highlight was the visit to the swimming pool, where a competition was held to find out who can slip the fastest, which was great fun with the students, as the School itself

The school trip ended after an exciting, albeit some rainy stay. The students expressed the desire to plan their next trip in summer in order to enjoy better weather. These two events-the donation run and the school trip-show how diverse school life at the Janusz Korczak school is, and that education and community spirit are closely linked here.
