The “Grandmas Against the Right” movement shows tireless efforts against right-wing extremism and discrimination in Germany. The committed women have been active in Landau's pedestrian zone for over six months and have taken an impressive stand against the growing right-wing tendency in society. Despite the cold and rain, they stand there with signs and posters to draw attention to their concerns. Astrid Maciejewski, one of the founders, reported that the group received both encouragement from passers-by and heated discussions.
