NEOS start election campaign: education and equal opportunities in focus!

Wien, Österreich - The Neos presented their posters for the upcoming Vienna election on April 27 on Thursday. The top candidate Selma Arapovic and Vice Mayor Bettina Emmerling cannot be seen on these campaign posters, but the Bundes boss Beate Meinl-Reisinger and the Minister of Education Christoph Return. The NEOs thus set clear accents in their communication strategy, which is focused on honesty, diversity and education. For the NEOS, a concise slogan is: "Vienna is diversity, not simplicity", as the Krone reported.

The NEOS is particularly important to the topic of education, a point that Vice Mayor Bettina Emmerling emphasized. She referred to the challenges that were created by the influx of children with non-German mother tongue at the schools in Vienna. In order to counter the challenges, measures such as additional administrative support and free lunch at all -day schools have already been implemented. The state manager of the Neos, Philipp Kern, emphasized that this election was about a directional decision. He sees the Neos as the only party that is able to move social democracy to reforms.
