Doris Bures: A political life story
Doris Bures was born in Vienna in 1962 and joined the anti-atomic movement and the Austrian peace movement at a young age. She started her political career in 1987 as a district councilor in Vienna/Liesing. With her years of experience in the National Council, in which she also worked as a Federal Minister of Women, Media and Public Service, she has repeatedly emphasized how important it is to convey values and responsibility in politics. The upcoming reading is therefore not only an event for the children, but also a step to promote political awareness and participation, which Bures sees as a central aspect of their work.
