Creative winter poems: Students learn elves with rapper Platzer!
Klagenfurt, Österreich - In Klagenfurt, the well-known military rapper and poetry winner John Patrick Platzer inspired the MS 12 students. In a creative workshop, which took place in the school library, Platzer trained with the kids to master the poetic elf shape-only eleven words that are combined in an impressive poetic narrative style. At the end of the workshop, the students were not only enthusiastic, but had already written their first own poems on the subject of winter. Platzer noticed: "Children have an incredible ability to put their thoughts into words when they give them the right space for it." This inspiring session was the start of an internal literature competition, which is intended to further promote the creativity of the students, such as Klick-kaernten.at reported.
Festive mood in the cathedral of Klagenfurt
At the same time, the Gailtaler Christmas in the Cathedral of Klagenfurt ensures a festive atmosphere in the city. This event attracts visitors and offers a rich program that increases the anticipation of the contemplative time. The combination of music, light and Christmas sounds turns the cathedral into a place that touches the hearts of people. The Gailtaler Christmas is not only a highlight of the Advent season in Klagenfurt, but also offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the peaceful time together with family and friends, such as reported.
In addition to the workshops and the festive activities, the literary competition on the Austrian reading day, March 28, 2025, will culminate with a presentation of the best elves in front of the entire school community. These two events show how creative education and festive traditions are promoted by the common good, while the cultural atmosphere in Klagenfurt is stimulated.
