An important step for Carinthia's literature and culture scene: The library of the renowned writer Ingeborg Bachmann will be available to the University of Klagenfurt in the future. A corresponding contract between the state of Carinthia, the city of Klagenfurt and the university ensures the handover of these valuable resources over a period of 33 years, such as The Kleine Zeitung reports . The works and genres that are represented in the collection range from crime novels to English and American literature to topics such as nature and education.
