On September 6, 2025, a ceremonial award of 145 high school graduates from 32 schools in Carinthia took place in the coat of arms of the Klagenfurt country house. These students have completed their Matura with excellent success. Governor Peter Kaiser, Education Director Isabella Penz and President of the Landtag Reinhart Rohr included, among others. The outstanding performance of the Maturants, which is seen as an important part of the future of Carinthia, was particularly emphasized.
Governor Kaiser emphasized that Carinthia has the most graduation in Austria in terms of the number of young people. Outstanding success rate
Education director Isabella Penz announced that this year in Carinthia a total of 2,560 young people took the Matura. The final exams were successfully passed over 99 percent of the high school graduates. This shows that the success rate has remained stable compared to previous years.
