A new chapter of affordable living in Vorarlberg is opened: Wilfried Flatz plans to build 62 cooperative apartments in Götzis. This innovative project "Lak - Life on the Kobel" is intended to offer an answer to the increasing need for living space in the region. Flatz, the initiator, recently started the first steps, but before the construction can begin, he needs 62 members for the cooperative. This project can only be financed with sufficient support. Managing Director Dr. Hans-Peter Lorenz emphasizes that the high numbers of two, three and four room apartments meet the needs of modern families. The completion of this sustainable residential complex is intended to offer the Bregenz citizens a new home and at the same time set standards to the principles of non -profit housing by creating space and affordable living space.

The combination of these projects - the cooperative model in Götzis and the large construction project in Bregenz - throws a light on the progress that is made in Vorarlberg in the field of affordable living.
