New owner for Magna Racino: What plans billionaire Luke Comer?
A spectacular change of owners in the Magna Racino in Ebreichsdorf (Baden district) causes excitement! Irish Luke Comer, a billionaire and real estate developer, took over the renowned site from the Lürßen Group. This was announced by Mayor Wolfgang Kocevar (SPÖ) on Thursday. The exact plans of Comers have so far been unclear, but the focus is on the extensive area of over 200 hectares, on which 75 million euros in investments were once made when Frank Stronach launched the project in 2004. Last year the first “Rolling Loud” festival took place in Austria, in which stars such as Nicki Minaj and Travis Scott performed. Surprisingly, however, the festival will not take place again this year on the site, as the reported.
In connection with major projects in Germany, the city of Frankfurt recently handed over an important area to the German Football Association (DFB)! The former GALOP racative railway in Niederrad, which now no longer officially exists, becomes the new home of the DFB and its academy. The inheritance contract for around 15 hectares has a term of 99 years. DFB President Reinhard Grindel sees this development as a great opportunity for German football. "For the first time, we will bring the administration and sport together under one roof," he said. The DFB plans to complete the academy in 2021, while a public park is to be built on part of the site. These detailed plans are a real ray of hope for Frankfurt and the soccer-loving population, such as frankfurt-tip.de
