New movement course in Wiesbaden's Gräselberg: For young and old!
Gräselberg, Wiesbaden, Deutschland - The Gräselberg shines in new splendor! An innovative movement and game course, which recently opened on Wörther-See-Straße between the Ludwig Beck School and the Kallebad, now invites all age groups to be active. As part of the "Social Corporation Gräselberg" funding program, this new meeting point will be designed according to the ideas of children and young people. Mayor Christiane Hinninger emphasizes: "With this project, we have managed to create an inclusive public space that promotes encounter, movement and community." The overall investment for the course is around 300,000 euros, with 60 percent being financed by funding and 40 percent from the budget of the green space office, such as the wiesbaden.de reported.
But that's not all! The construction of a new district center in Gräselberg, which will significantly improve the social infrastructure, is also planned. Located in Pörtschacher Straße, the center will offer rooms for a parent-child community and for the children's parents center Gräselberg (Kiez). The city councils have already agreed and the construction work should begin in 2024. With a budget of 23.5 million euros, financed by the federal government and the country, the center in addition to an event hall will also offer a modern youth café to promote exchange among young people. According to gräselberg-w2a.de there will also be innovative facilities such as a YouTube and podcast studio that take into account the creative needs of the young residents.
These new developments significantly increase the quality of life in the Gräselberg. The planned district center is a clear signal for the further development of the social infrastructure: more contact points for families, space for encounters and a variety of offers - all of this becomes a reality. While the course is already becoming a popular meeting place for sporting activities, residents are preparing for the upcoming growth of their district.
