Carnival market for a good cause: discover and help costumes!

On Friday, January 10th, the aid organizations Aktion Hope and the Aichach mission group organize a benefit sales in the Haus Michael parish center. The second-hand carnival market is under the motto "Sustainably shop and do good" and offers visitors the opportunity to choose from over 2000 costumes on 150 square meters.

This offer includes a variety of disguises, including animal costumes, outfits of film and television fields, glitter and athlete costumes and various accessories such as masks, jewelry, hats and wigs. The event is supported by volunteers from the Aichach mission group. The proceeds of this market flow into an aid project for the St. Martin Percoto Primary and Vocational School in Mityana, Uganda, who have been supporting children from socially weak families for over 30 years.

The opening times of the carnival market are on January 10 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. In addition to the sale of costumes, coffee and cake are also offered. Visitors also have the option of submitting well -preserved clothing and carnival costumes as a donation.

The financing of salaries at the school, where a roof for school feeding has recently been financed, remains a major challenge. The construction of a wall to enclose the school area is also planned. In addition, on Saturday, January 11th, a second-hand carnival market from the organization Action Hope in the parish hall Heilig Geist will also take place in Neuburg. This event is offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and brings over 2000 costumes for young and old on 120 square meters under the same motto "Shop sustainably and do good" for sale.

The new and funny costumes from the market in Neuburg also include animal costumes, heroes from film and television as well as glitter and athlete outfits, supplemented by accessories such as masks, jewelry and wigs. The proceeds from this market benefit social work in the Archdiocese of Sucre, Bolivia, to support a children's home for over 50 children from difficult conditions.
