Friedrich triumphs: third victory in the two-man bobsleigh and new track record!

Francesco Friedrich achieved his third victory of the season in the fourth race of the two-man bobsleigh World Cup. The two-time double Olympic champion, who was on the track in Winterberg with his pusher Alexander Schüller, showed an impressive performance and held his own with a lead of 0.21 seconds over second-placed Adam Ammour from BRC Thuringia.

The German team celebrated a remarkable triple success: After Friedrich, Johannes Lochner and his pusher Joshua Taschen took third place. In the first run, Friedrich also set a new track record, which he improved to 54.05 seconds.

Adam Ammour's return

Adam Ammour, who returned after a serious fall in training with the four-man bobsleigh, showed a strong performance with his pusher Benedikt Hertel. After the two-man bobsleigh World Cup in Sigulda was canceled, which Ammour had to end due to three falls, his return was all the more impressive. In the second round, Ammour was faster than Friedrich both at the start and on the track.

These achievements illustrate the strong competition in the German bobsleigh team and the impressive abilities of the athletes in this demanding sport.
