Anniversary Advent concert: A musical festival in Lackenbach

On Sunday, December 8, 2024, the Lackenbach parish church was transformed into a festive concert stage. On the occasion of the anniversary Advent concert under the motto “The best of 35 years” numerous visitors streamed into the church. Under the direction of Bernadette Friedl, the Lackenbach church choir, together with the Lackenbach youth music group, under the direction of Marco Horvath, presented a varied program of traditional and modern Advent songs. The sounds filled the room and aroused the anticipation of the upcoming Christmas MyDistrict.at was reported.

A celebration for the generations

The concert began promptly at 4:00 p.m. and featured an impressive performance that reflected the musical diversity of the community. Young talents and experienced singers combined their voices and created a harmonious atmosphere that captivated the audience. Particularly noteworthy was the joint finale, which was celebrated with enthusiastic applause. The evening's voluntary donations are intended to benefit a good cause and demonstrate the community's commitment to solidarity.

Another highlight of the evening was the award of Lara Prikoszovich, the talented musician from Lackenbach youth music, who received the silver achievement badge. Chairman Wolfgang David and bandmaster Marco Horvath warmly congratulated the artist on this remarkable achievement. The youth music itself has already recorded many successes in the past and even took part in the international musicians' meeting in Brixen, where they gave a big concert together with hundreds of musicians, reports Jugendmusik-Lackenbach.at.
