Attention prospective students: Open House at universities of applied sciences!

On March 14, 2025 the time has finally come! The FH Joanneum in Kapfenberg invites everyone interested to its exciting open house. Participants can expect interesting information about study programs, sample lectures and the opportunity to experience laboratories from smart production to energy analytics live. New to the offer is the bachelor's program in “Health and Nursing”, which will be available from autumn 2025 on the health campus in downtown Kapfenberg. In addition, the new Bachelor in “Environmental Management” and the Master in “European Green Transformation” will be presented, both of which can be completed part-time orf.at reported.

There are new products not only in Kapfenberg! On March 15th, the Graz University of Applied Sciences opens its doors to prospective students. Here you can get a taste of everyday student life and take part in workshops. A highlight is the opportunity to get active with self-driving mini-Segways and robots in the in-house aviation hangar or in the electronics laboratory. The new “Health Hub” tent deserves special attention, where health studies shine through practical exercises such as resuscitation and blood samples. On March 21st, the Open House at the FH Joanneum Bad Gleichenberg closes with a program that offers the latest findings in training science and exciting insights into what the university has to offer.

Science and entertainment combined

A look back at the FH Wiener Neustadt shows that the open day there was also a success. On March 12, 2016, numerous visitors found out about a wide range of courses in technology, health and business. The highlight was the interdisciplinary panel discussion and exciting experiments in the laboratories. The FH Wiener Neustadt even received first place in a Universum study on “employability”, which means that its graduates have particularly good chances on the job market wn24.at highlights.
