Where does Arzl go? District by changing with new construction projects!
This week, Meinverkärt illuminates the Arzl district, which was incorporated into the city of Innsbruck in 1940. Originally an independent village, Arzl grew in the course of the Nazi compulsory community, since the city was looking for construction reasons in order to counteract the housing shortage. Despite his integration, Arzl has preserved his rural character, with a charming old town center who still tells a lot about his story, as in the complete description of In addition, the Neu-Arzl volunteer fire brigade organizes a Christmas joint project in which the residents decorate the Christmas tree in the village. This initiative is very popular and strengthens cohesion in the community, while the cityscape is becoming increasingly festive.
Arzl, with around 11,281 inhabitants, has changed a lot over the years and continues to move further to an urban center, whereby the historical charm is never lost. The district, which is located on the southern slope of the north chain, has kept its rural-village character to this day and thus offers a perfect mix of tradition and modernity.
