Beautiful in Hallstatt: Review of 10 years of committed work!

An exciting year is coming to an end for the Hallstatt beauty association, which last week in the inn "Zum Bader" invited you to look back on the past few months. Chairman Roswitha Seethaler proudly reported on the extensive renovation and maintenance work that started in spring. She praised her committed team, which removed the railing on the way to the Goaßerbankerl and heavy boulders in the Echerntal and on the Salzberg. The rapid renovation of the dangerous path to the glacier garden, which was initially planned for two years, was particularly remarkable thanks to the tireless efforts in just one year. "With the help of a helicopter, four big bags of 750 kg of gravel and 60 pieces of wood were fed for the steps," said Seethaler.

annual general meeting and new elections

During the annual general meeting, which took place in April, the new board was elected: Roswitha Seethaler as chairwoman, Rudi Prohaska as deputy and Gisela Kalchschmid as secretary. The association, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, took a look back to a successful decade. The chairwoman presented a PowerPoint presentation with the highlights of the club activities and presented three photo books that document the work of the team in detail, such as tips.at reported.

Overall, there were numerous activities, including the care and maintenance of the paths that were coordinated in cooperation with forester Norbert Meier. Treasurer Alfred Hemetzberger presented a positive financial report, and the meeting unanimously approved the discharge of the board. Mayor Alexander Scheutz praised the valuable work of the association and promised support for future projects. A highlight was the generous donation from Hermann Pilz, chairman of the Naturfreunde Hallstatt, who presented the club 2,000 euros. In addition, the importance of an environmentally conscious attitude was emphasized in future renovation work, since many meadow flowers and insects are threatened, as Johannes Pilz emphasized in his lecture.
