lack of water and help for Malawi
The connection between the Twin City Liner and Unicef is not only symbolic, but also extremely practical. According to reports from meinbezirk.at supports UNICEF with the donation the repair of bored holes that are equipped with solar pumps. These measures have already put 164 solar -powered water systems into operation, which are intended to improve access to clean drinking water for numerous children. In many regions, especially in Malawi, children often have to cover long distances to get water, which is not only time -consuming but also healthy. This initiative is significant help and has the potential to change the lives of many children.
The managing director of Central Danube, Gerd Krämer, and his colleague Severin Leopold was pleased with the result of the fundraising campaign and have announced that the Twin City Liner would like to continue to collect donations for Unicef to support the important work. "We take our social responsibility very seriously and want to make a contribution to the poorest," said Krämer. This continuous support could not only promote access to drinking water and education, but also contribute to combating malnutrition in the long term.
