On the morning of January 16, 2025, a dramatic vehicle overflow occurred in the Weißenbach valley, which required the fire brigade immediately. According to the reports of fireworld.at and ff-badischl.at, the fire brigades Mitterweißenbach, Pfandl and Steinbach am Attersee, as well as the main fire station Bad Ischl, were alerted at 7:00 a.m. due to a "traffic accident with personal rescue" report. A fire brigade member from Steinbach, who was just on the way to work, discovered the overturned car and quickly acted to provide help.

The driver of the vehicle was still in the car and had suffered minor injuries. Thanks to the rapid reaction of the fire brigade, the injured person was able to leave the accident car independently. When the other rescue workers arrived, the accident victim had already been cared for by the Red Cross Bad Ischl and was brought to the Salzkammergut Clinic Bad Ischl. The fire brigade had the task of recovering the vehicle, which was then picked up by a towing company, as described in detail.
