The fire brigades in the Wiener Neustadt district presented impressive deployment figures in 2024. A total of 6,069 operations were recorded, including 3,243 technical operations and 504 fire operations. In a committed meeting on March 9, 2025 in the Lanzenkirchen community hall, district fire brigade commander OBR Karl-Heinz Greiner reported on the operational priorities of the past year, which was heavily influenced by the flood disaster in September.
