On February 7, 2025, the annual general meeting of the volunteer fire brigade took place in Wagna, which was characterized by significant changes. Under the direction of the outgoing HBI Krauss Dietmar, numerous guests of honor and active members, including the youth fire brigade, came together. The past year was characterized by remarkable commitment: over 6,900 hours were done, of which 782 hours are on direct missions. 104 missions, including fires and technical operations, testify to the constant operational readiness of the firefighters who are available around the clock to help the population. A central point of the meeting was the new election of the fire brigade commander, since HBI Krauss Dietmar could not continue due to his age limit. Olm Ing. Michael Reicher was chosen with an absolute majority and in his speech emphasized the importance of camaraderie. He wants to focus more on youth work and further develop the quality standards in the fire brigade. In a festive framework, Krauss Dietmar was honored for his many years of excellent work with a golden badge of honor, who praised his tireless efforts. The celebration was musically framed by the Wagna brass music band and culminated in an impressive fireworks display.

In another significant step to optimize your work, the Wagna volunteer fire brigade took over a new ground cleaning machine from the local company Rotowash on April 25, 2024, which is known for its high -quality products. The machine was handed over by the managing directors Dietmar Schweiggl, Christian Schuh and Noah Morokutti to HBI Krauss Dietmar and Obi Czermak Michael. Rotowash, a quality -oriented family company, places great emphasis on sustainability and produces many components directly in Austria.
