Tyrol is looking for future doctors: Inside: Apply now for medical study places!

The state of Tirol is once again starting an initiative to promote prospective doctors as part of the public health service. From the study year 2025/2026, up to five dedicated medical study places will be offered at the Medical University of Innsbruck. These places are aimed at applicants: inside that are among the top 25 percent at the MedAT H, but have not received a regular study place. The application deadline for these places ends on April 15, 2025, as Dolomitenstadt reported.

The financing and awarding of the study places is carried out by the state of Tyrol and is intended to secure medical care within the region in the long term. Conditions for the application

In order to apply for the dedicated study places, the interested parties must submit different documents, including a curriculum vitae, a letter of motivation and the payment confirmation for the MedAT-H. During his studies, the students receive a monthly training allowance of at least 1,000 euros. In addition, after completing the training, an entry content of at least 7,042.70 euros gross is expected.
