Coswiger falsifies recipes: High punishment for drug fraud!

In a shocking case of forgery of documents, a 46-year-old man from Coswig tried to enrich himself with fake recipes for the prescription medication Tilidin and Lorazepam. The accused had manipulated the stamps and signatures of two doctors and submitted the recipes to two mail order pharmacies. But his criminal machinations did not remain undetected!

The 5th Criminal Court of the District Court of Dessau-Roßlau left no doubt on Thursday morning that the Coswiger was responsible for the counterfeits. The man's appeal was rejected and the original fine of 10,400 euros was confirmed. The fake recipes showed numerous disagreements, including false stamps and doctor numbers. The doctors had also explained that the accused was not registered as a patient, which further complicated the situation.

opened by high dosage

The criminal plans of the Coswiger failed above all due to the "very high amount" and the "very unusual dosage" of the medication that he had applied for. Prosecutor Frank Pesselt made it clear that the defendant had already been convicted of illegal possession of narcotics in November 2023. The judges agreed that the punishment for falsification of documents was justified, especially in view of the short period of time between the offenses. The decision is not yet final, but the evidence against the accused is overwhelming!
