Science up close: Research Festival brings new things to Vienna!
From March 21 to 23, 2025, Vienna City Hall will become the city's largest research laboratory. At this special event, over 30 research stations with exciting content can be discovered, including areas specially designed for small children. Those interested can take part in in-depth workshops taking place on March 22nd and 23rd from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The research café, where keynote lectures by Viennese researchers are offered, is particularly attractive. These lectures are intended for adults and will take place on March 22 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., the reported Vienna press.
The participating institutions include top-class institutions such as the Technical University of Vienna, MedUni Vienna, the Karl Landsteiner University Krems, and numerous other research centers. Visitors have the opportunity to discover new scientific developments from various areas - from molecular plant biology to artificial intelligence. The event takes place daily over the dates mentioned from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the town hall, Lichtenfelsgasse 2 in Vienna. Admission is free, making the event a unique experience for all ages.
