On December 7th and 8th, the Tyrolean village of Ranggen experienced a festive rush as the popular Advent event captivated visitors. The expected snowfall did not occur until Sunday, but on Saturday numerous people streamed into the festively decorated village center. In this unique atmosphere, where the sounds of music and the aroma of delicious food came together, Ranggen became a hotspot for Advent fans from near and far. As MeinDistrict reported, the center was transformed into a culinary gourmet zone, while the art of nativity scenes could be admired in the surrounding houses.
Festive performances and long queues
An unmissable highlight of the event was the church concert, which took place on both Saturday and Sunday. The visitors were so enthusiastic that long queues formed an hour before the start to secure a place in the crowded hall. The Ranggen music band under the direction of chairman Meinrad Abfalterer and bandmaster Daniel Maizner, together with talented singing teams, offered an unforgettable performance.
