The first individual competition of the Olympic season in ski jumping took place on November 22, 2025 in Lillehammer, Norway. The Austrian ski jumpers presented themselves in top form and secured an impressive triple victory. Daniel Tschofenig triumphed with a jump of 133 meters and another jump of 129 meters. Despite some difficulties in training, he was able to improve his performance after the first round, in which he was in fourth place, and win the race.

Jan Hörl and Stefan Kraft followed Tschofenig in second and third place. Hörl, who worked his way up from fifth place, praised the team performance and was happy about his place on the podium. Stefan Kraft also showed a strong performance, jumping 138 meters and 120 meters, but missed the half-time lead and missed his 46th World Cup victory. However, there is a chance for Kraft to break Janne Ahonen's all-time points record next Sunday.
