Belt Connection: Dance for a good cause in Vienna in the evening!
On May 28, 2025, the Belt will dance in Vienna for a good cause: 14 bars, over 50 acts and voluntary donations will support women's shelters and refugees.
Belt Connection: Dance for a good cause in Vienna in the evening!
Tonight the 16th edition of the Belt Connection will take place in Vienna at the Lerchenfelder Belt. Over 50 acts and DJs will perform in 14 participating venues and the event promises a lively music program. So far, the initiative has collected an impressive 340,229 euros in donations, which will benefit a good cause.
Free entry is made possible through voluntary donations, with the funds collected being used specifically for two important projects: supporting women's shelters in Vienna, which offer protection, accommodation and advice for women and children affected by violence, and the Tralalobe association, which helps refugees in Austria by finding accommodation, legal advice and language courses.
The program and the venues
Among the renowned participating locations are The Loft, Fanialive, Riemenbräu Wien and B72. The entry wristbands are available at each of the participating restaurants. This initiative is jointly organized by the local operators on the Belt and coordinated by the Association for the Cultural Revitalization of the Lerchenfelder Belt. The event takes place twice a year and aims to promote the diversity and attractiveness of the belt section.

Commitment to a good cause
The Belt Connection is part of a larger commitment that includes several charity events per year, as well as flea markets and Christmas markets. These events are designed to spend time together, attract new supporters and raise funds, which is important for organizing service projects. Donations in kind are sold at flea markets, with the proceeds used to procure urgently needed relief supplies.
With a colorful mix of music and social commitment, the Belt Connection will once again set an example of community this year, while at the same time providing important support for people in need in Vienna. The helping hands behind this event hope for a high number of visitors so that the donations can continue to increase.
