Lerchenfelder Gürtel, Wien, Österreich - This evening the 16th edition of the belt Connection will take place in Vienna on Lerchenfeld belt. Over 50 acts and DJs will appear in 14 participating locals and the event promises a lively music program. So far, the initiative has been able to collect a remarkable 340,229 euros in donations that benefit a good cause.

Free admission is made possible by voluntary donations, whereby the collected funds are used specifically for two important projects: the support of women's shelters in Vienna, offer protection, accommodation and advice for women and children affected by violence, as well as the association tralalobe, who helps to find a search for accommodation, legal advice and language courses.

The program and the local

The Loft, Fanialive, Gürtelbräu Vienna and B72 can be found among the renowned participating locations. The entrance tapes are available in each of the local locations. This initiative is organized jointly by the local operators on the belt and coordinated by the association for the cultural revival of the Lerchenfeld belt. The event takes place twice a year and aims to promote the diversity and attractiveness of the belt section.

commitment to the good cause

The belt Connection is part of a larger commitment that includes several charity events a year, as well as flea markets and Christkindlmarkets. These events are designed to spend time together, to gain new supporters and to collect donations, which is important for the organization of aid projects. Donations in kind are sold in the flea markets, whereby the proceeds are used to procure urgently needed relief goods.

With a colorful mix of music and social Engagement, the belt Connection will again set a sign of the community this year, while at the same time grants important support for people in need. The helping hands behind this event hope for a high number of visitors so that the donation amounts can continue to rise.
