On December 1st, the six members of the new pastoral care team of the Rohr parish were ceremoniously commissioned as part of a solemn liturgy. The new members include Claudia Ausserwöger (liturgy), Günter Ketterer (proclamation), Peter Knapp (PGR organization), Josef Kreutzinger (finance), Christa Meuwissen (pastor) and Johann Schützenhofer (Caritas). The event was led by the pastoral director Mag. Fabian Drack and musically accompanied by the church choir and the vocal ensemble “In Ana Dur”, as shown on MyDistrict reported.
The anticipation of the upcoming holidays can also be seen in Traunkirchen, where an atmospheric Advent market will take place on December 14th. Host Michaela Sulzer is inviting people to attend for the third time. From 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., visitors can enrich their Christmas preparations with artistically designed products from 13 local artisans in the courtyard of the Mühlbach 9 property. A special highlight are two peaceful llamas that will delight the little guests. Regional specialties such as raclette bread and mulled wine ensure your physical well-being. The musical accompaniment is provided loudly by the small part of the Traunkirchen local music group and the men's choir “Die Daxerbuam”. Have a good meal.
