Exotec presented the latest generation of its groundbreaking Skypod system in Paris today, which is set to revolutionize automation in warehouse logistics. With more performance, higher storage density and expanded software modules, the system meets the increasing requirements in modern logistics. The new Skypod robots are not only more compact, but also able to efficiently handle both individual and pallet picking (Each and Case Picking). Increased performance and application efficiency

The innovative technology increases throughput at a workstation by a remarkable 50 percent and enables storage density of up to 30 percent compared to previous versions. The newly developed exchanger for incoming and outgoing goods significantly improves the efficiency of operations by reducing the need for external devices and complex subsystems. This has drastically shortened the delivery time at E. Leclerc: drive-thru processing has been reduced from 10-15 minutes to less than 5 minutes, says Maxence Maurice, CEO of E. Leclerc. Exotec's CEO Romain Moulin emphasizes that the system is not only operationally excellent, but also offers an elegant solution to the challenges of the coming years.

The Skypod system is not only technologically advanced, but also quick to install. Customers like GEDOIS and Ariat experienced remarkable implementation efficiency: in just 7 months, GEDOIS was equipped with 39 robots, 4 stations and a storage capacity of over 29,440 positions. Ariat even needed just 11 months to install 86 robots and 71,785 storage spaces. These impressive projects demonstrate Exotec's ability to guarantee minimal operational disruption while enabling rapid transition to advanced warehouse automation.
