Nexaro NR 1700: The new vacuum robot for efficient cleaning in large rooms!

The Wuppertal technology start-up Nexaro presented its latest product today: the Nexaro NR 1700, an innovative vacuum robot that was specially developed for the demanding cleaning conditions in large and complex rooms. The new robot complements the already successful predecessor Nexaro NR 1500, which is the world's first compact, commercial vacuum robot to meet the IEC 63327 safety standard. This safety feature is crucial for the smooth and safe use of autonomous cleaning machines, such as nexaro.com emphasized.

Technological innovations and versatility

The Nexaro NR 1700 impresses with the latest sensor technology and a long-range laser distance sensor that enables precise navigation in areas of up to 1,000 square meters. Dr. Henning Hayn, General Manager of Nexaro, explains: “The device is the ideal solution for large areas of use such as lobbies or showrooms and meets the highest requirements in commercial cleaning.” The tailor-made charging station not only ensures easy placement, but also ensures that the robot is always ready for use.

The Nexaro HUB's intelligent software enables new features such as automatic creation of no-go zones and live tracking of robot position, significantly improving integration into existing cleaning systems. The vacuum robot will be available from February 5, 2025 at a price of 2,990.90 euros, including a 36-month Pro.Multi license for the Nexaro HUB. Delivery of the device will begin in April 2025, and it can also be combined with the Nexaro NR 1500, which represents a complete system solution in the area of commercial building cleaning.

With the cobotic approach, Nexaro pursues the goal of allowing humans and machines to work together effectively. The aim is to relieve the cleaning staff of tedious work so that they can concentrate on more demanding tasks, which not only increases efficiency but also increases the attractiveness of jobs in the cleaning industry. The Wuppertal company is thus positioning itself as a pioneer in the future of the cleaning industry.
