Call for witnesses: Mechanics take theft to the extreme in Rodewald!

A brazen theft caused a stir in Rodewald: unknown perpetrators targeted a blue BMW 3 Series on the main street on the night from Saturday to Sunday, between December 7th and 8th, 2024. While the Nienburg police are looking for witnesses, both report news.de as well as Presseportal.de about the scandalous circumstances of the incident.

The perpetrators acted professionally: They stole both Polish license plates, the right rear tire including the original silver rim, the kidney grille and both fog lights. To dismantle these parts, the BMW was lifted onto bricks, which resulted in the front bumper being partially removed. The police are alarmed and are asking the public for information on how to catch the thieves, who may have caused massive damage and high costs for the vehicle owner.
