Google Street View solves murder mystery: eerie discovery in Soria!
In the small village of Tajueco in Soria province, about 200 kilometers northeast of Madrid, a Google Street View image has led to a dramatic turnaround in a murder case. This picture shows a man loading a large plastic bag into the trunk of a car. This shocking discovery led police to search for human remains near a cemetery, where they eventually found parts of a body linked to the disappearance of a 33-year-old Cuban man who had been missing since November 2023, VOL.AT reported.
The footage that led investigators to the trail of the crime not only showed the alleged perpetrator, but also a body, presumably covered with a sheet, that was loaded into the trunk. As a result, the victim's wife and her new partner, a well-known bar owner nicknamed "The Wolf of Tajueco", were arrested. Police also investigated phone taps that indicated suspicious messages that were believed to have been written by someone else on behalf of the victim. According to Bluewin.ch, this could be the key to clearing up the case.
Shocking revelations and arrests
The arrests followed after the Cuban's body parts, including a torso, were discovered. These were found under a tombstone that had been broken open, which quickly led investigators to the couple. The National Police confirmed that Schmidt's reports were crucial to the crime, discovered in a location search application, but other evidence also came into play that led to the arrest of the suspects. The investigation into this is still ongoing, with the search for additional body parts of the victim, as Bluewin.ch further reported.
