Burglary in Karbach: Perpetrators escape empty-handed!

On the night of Friday to Saturday, around 2:15 a.m., there was a break-in at a company building in Karbach. Unknown perpetrators got inside through a broken window. The alarm that was triggered caused the intruders to leave the premises without any loot. The material damage to the window is estimated to be minor. A local search by the Marktheidenfeld police was unsuccessful. The police are asking for information from witnesses by calling 0931/9841-0 my-news.de reported.

On Friday morning, around 6:35 a.m., a traffic accident occurred on the route between Ursprung and Roden. A van and a car touched each other in oncoming traffic. While the van turned around to return to the scene of the accident, the car simply drove away. The material damage to the van amounts to around 1,000 euros. The police are also asking for witness reports here.

More incidents

In addition, there was a bicycle accident in Billingshausen on Friday morning, around 5:10 a.m. A 37-year-old mountain biker fell due to the slippery road and suffered minor injuries. The damage to the bike amounts to around 500 euros.

Another incident occurred on Friday afternoon, around 2:50 p.m., in the parking lot of a hypermarket in Marktheidenfeld. An Opel car driver collided with a parked Jaguar while parking. The damage to both vehicles amounts to around 1,000 euros.

In Lohr am Main, an unknown perpetrator stole a silver amulet from a package in an apartment building on Valentinusberg on Saturday morning, around 9:30 a.m. The package had previously been dropped off by the delivery service. On Saturday morning, around 8:15 a.m., a 32-year-old man shoplifted around 40 euros in a hypermarket on Rexrothstrasse, Lohr am Main. He was detained by employees and handed over to the police. Video recordings show that he had committed another theft two days earlier. He was ordered to pay a security deposit of 200 euros and was banned from entering the building.

In the last few days there was also a fire in a flower pot in Lohr am Main-Wombach. Between January 9th, 2025 and January 11th, 2025, hot furnace ash was poured into a plastic bucket, which resulted in the bucket burning completely. The wall of the house was covered in soot and the material damage amounted to around 50 euros.

Meanwhile, in Torgau, the police reported several break-ins. In November 2023, unknown perpetrators pried open the main entrance doors of several businesses and stole, among other things, cash and electronic devices. The police are also asking for information on how polizei.sachsen.de notes.
